About
Photographer Michael Huitt has his roots in Kansas. He grew up on a wheat, corn and cattle farm in the western part of the state.
He started with photography in high school building a school darkroom and helping to start his high school newspaper. Huitt began his career in television journalism at KAKE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas. His six years at KAKE led him to New York City and a 23-year career at ABC News. During a majority of that time, he managed the satellite news gathering department of ABC News known as ABSAT.
His passion for photography was always strong and after leaving ABC, he began his own photography business specializing in portfolio development with models and actors in New York City.

About Michael Huitt Photography
Michael Huitt has been a photographer since the age of 15 and his first Minolta SLR film camera. After years of photography and television production, he now specializes in head shot and portfolio development on the Upper West Side of New York City.
